The D-Tox Monster brand foot spa is causing a lot of chatter amongst the various competitor companies as they are totally different with offering a truly high powered foot spa. And this includes unique options for commercial settings. The arrays are 50-80 bucks per set and last about 3 times as long as other arrays. The only machine that competes with this brand in power is the EB305 that takes about 18 to 23 minutes per session due to super high ion output although most folks are doing 45 minute sessions and those who are really needing support with health conditions are doing 3 hours! It used low wattage while the D-TOX Monster uses high wattage. Totally different technologies.

The unique thing about the D-Tox monster is the way it separates the negative ions from the positive. This ionic foot bath definitely gives a tingly sensation due to the high ion output. Many AC spas give the tingly feel due to the AC Ripple effect which most DC models don't give off. The D-TOX Monster has zero ripple effect.

Many people don't want the arrays to produce positive ions with the negative even if the positive is only 10% of the ions produced. This is one of the first of its kind to totally separate 100% of the ions from positive. I heard about this before I could buy it during its clinical testing they did. They have taken the 36 amp power supply and d rated it 50% so it now performs like an 18 amp power supply. Also D Rating it extends the life 3 times on the power supply versus other brands with their power supplies. I was shocked this thing ways a ton by comparison but that’s because of the size of the transformer in it. All other brands use a 12, 24, 36 volt at around 5amps of performance. Monster D-Tox has a power supply that can handle way beyond that or just below 18amps. They do not advertise this but I have found that the fuse that is located in the handle can be removed easily and I can go higher than 5 amp footbaths by purchasing a higher fuse from an Auto Parts store.

Most machines produce an even amount of negative and positive into the water. Most people’s bodies need way more negative ions. D-Tox Monster is the only footbath I have found that separates in the bucket the positive and negative ions and the positive will just be released as gas in the center. So a person only receives the negative polarity of the electricity in the water (this is what causes the water on the surface to spin..see my video. That is a majorly strong field as I have never seen the water spin in the bucket with any other brand). Other brands don’t have the array designed in a way that will separate the negative and positive.

With the high amperage power supplies offered on this brand, you can choose the amperage you want to start out with. Many people get the lower powered amperage power supply to start out with and use the 12 amp power later down the road when they can handle the detoxification. But, as the body become less toxic, the hard to detox toxins are harder to get negative ions to. Most people have mercury fillings.

The electrical fields made by the arrays in the D-TOX monster makes the water move by itself. When the positive and negative plates conduct electricity when salt is added in their spa, the water starts moving. Most ionic foot baths do not have these visible electric fields, or at least I haven't seen many do this.
After about 4 minutes, the water in the D-TOX Monster spa starts swirling.

The high amperage D-Tox Monster uses analog gages, not digital display. This type of power supply is very expensive too. Analog is much cleaner and comes direct from the power source. With digital displays the electricity has to be changed twice in the power supply because the display work on AC power and so that doesn’t trickle back to the array and bleed through it must be converted again to DC and this also subtracts from the total amperage potential delivered to the arrays!

With the same power, comparing same amperage and everything but just having one model DC and the other powered by AC current not converted to DC, the difference you can usually see is the browning of water compared to the water turning into mud.

When the array is very powerful there will be a half an inch of floating sludge on top of the foot bath. Some ionic foot baths take 15 to 20 minute to do this. Low quality ionic foot spas might not even get to this level but if they do they usually take over an hour and most people by that time want to be done with the session. Most machines except two brands I have seen make this mud in 20 minutes.

Note: The session times in the D-Tox Monster spa depends on the power supply you pick out. A session at 36 amps that delivers a constant 15 amp power will usually take about 20 minutes for a treatment session.

Note: A 5 amp foot spa might really just have an input power at 5 amps but only be delivering 1.5 amps to 2 amps once the AC is converted to DC power. See my Amperage page to learn more about amperage of foot spas. I think it’s unfair to the consumer of these when they are mis-lead about the real power of the foot bath. Most people don't know the difference between peak amperage and constant amperage.

You can't get the pulling power even if you soak in a lower powered ionic foot bath no matter how long the treatment session is. It's about the ion output produced. Using in low powered spa twice as long is not the same as using a more powerful model half that time. Although time is a factor to deliver enough negative ions into the body, so is having enough latch on to the wastes by having enough ions come into the body at one time.

The monster arrays are the largest I have found. 9 inch stainless steel plates. 1/8 inch thick and 1.5 inches wide. Super thick. The thickest of all plates I have seen. The thicker the plate the higher the electrolysis. Depending on how much salt is used the monster arrays should last between 60 to 100 sessions. Note that the session times can be much shorter in this brand due to its higher amperage and larger surface area of its plates. If more salt is added the life span of the plates diminishes but 60 is still one of the highest I have seen compared to the $3000 models that I've seen in clinics.

If using an ionic foot spa for light detox, this is probably too powerful of a foot bath for most people, especially their high amperage models. Their 12 amp model delivers 7 amps and is their lower powered model that most people buy for light detox. But to them light detox is high for others. Until now, the 5 amp models were on the high end as far as amperage is concerned. (constant, output amperage, not input amperage before the 5 amps are converted to usable energy which is always going to be less than the 5 amp input power.

Everyone that inquires about the D-Tox monster foot bath always seems to disbelieve its that powerful. Well, I put the same amount of salt and the same amount of water in 3 other models. The monster arrays were the only oen that turned the water into "black mud". I now see what they mean when they say it is 3 times the power as the most powerful competitors of theirs.

The mud, instead of just brownish water, comes from having so much surface area on the arrays.

Note: the amperage is only increased to its highest amperage rating when more salt is added. It won't pull the maximum amperage if less salt is added. If you buy the most powerful power supply of theirs, you can always add less salt but if you only but their 12 amp model, it stops at that level. Still their 12 amp model delivering 7 amps is more powerful than any off the shelf model I have tested. If you put two tablespoons in a low amperage foot bath, it will blow the fuse in a low powered foot spas. Not in this one.

I will only sell their 12 amp (input power) ionic foot baths on my site. The higher powered models are to be monitored by health practitioners and be used with their discretion.

Note: the detox monster is capable of going higher than 5.5 amps but this is regulated by the FDA on the highest amperage it can be sold at based on what every company that sells high amperage foot baths say.

Update: the newest arrays are 99.999 pure silver plates that are only available by request. Not the titanium copper steel ones. The surgical steel arrays are the 2nd best but silver is more more expensive and most people complain about the price. For pricing on the dTox monster foot bath contact me. There are different versions so make sure if you want the current version to let me know.
