This brand can go up to 24 volts. This can handle almost any water. If you don't need 24 volts, it uses less or as little as needed.This machine is calibrated to not ionize the debris in the water. Some people use well water, tap water, or filtered water. The reason why some machines make the water turn colors is from the debris in the water. This brand lets you set the speed of ionization. Some people are more electrostatically senstivie than otehrs. For example, if you are the type that gets shocked when you touch something while stepping on a rug, it adusts the amperage based on your choice of settings. Their amperage goes all the way up to 2.3 Amps. Most people cannot tolerate 2.3 amps.
If you want a manual machine that you have to calibrate by adding salt to get the right ionization, that is good but this one does it for you. Some people can't even keep their feet in a machine that is running at 24 volts and 2.3 amps. The arrays are big enough in this model to fully saturate the water with the ions you need based on your setting.
They have a portable, personal, and professional. The portable has the least power and is for those that need a lighter detox. This machine also will tell you when you have added enough salt. It beeps when you are at the proper salt level. As the water gets more dirty, the amperage needed to conduct will change. This has a feature where it calibrates the machine to keep the amperage at the level no matter how dirty the water gets. At the beginning of the session, you don't need as many amps as the mid session. And at the end, you need a lot more amps. Most people don't get any results during the last 10 minutes and they are just wasting their time if the amperage doesn't increase to calibrate.
