Given the same amount of salt with the same amount of water why does one turn into brown water while the other water turns into black mud?
Depending on the amount of toxins coming out of someones poors and the type of toxins, acidic wastes vs heavy metals, the color can change. The salt that you put in the water can also cause the water to change and the more salt that is added the more color change and the faster the color change. As the water stays in the foot spa getting charged, the best time to get in is about 15 minutes after the ionic foot bath has been turned on. This is when the water is charged high enough. Otherwise, when people get a 45 minute session, the first 15 minutes shouldn't count on some of these lower powered models.
When salt is secreted from the pores, this adds to the original spoon of salt you put in and the more someone detoxifies through their feet, the more mud like the water will become. I always use distilled water when using my foot spa. Some spas get foam on top of the water an this is usually become of mucous in the lymph. Some, instead of black mud floating on top, it gests a white cheese like residue floating on top.
The more body acid wastes eliminated in the spa, the more the water will change color. Wastes from the liver typicaly turn the water greenish. if you let the water sit for a while, the rust from the plates will settle to the bottom.
The ionic foot spas that go to higher amperage with larger surface plates will make the most change in color in the least amount of time. The real way to measure color is when the soak water settles and the particles flow to the bottom and the color of the top half of the used soak water. You don't want to confuse the oxidation of the metal arrays with detox which many people do. The oranges, the greens, and the other colors that come from the toxins in the body are the colors to look for to see if the machine is working. The most important way is to see if there is a change in the way you feel after during your first 10 sessions.
Just like getting colonics, not everyone releases on the first or second cleanse. Don't expect a major color change on the first ionic foot bath cleanse.
Note: anyone should get in writing that if they don't experience anything different in the way they feel after 10 sessions they should be able to return it. I will not buy anything I don't care what it is if I can't return it if I don't like it. Who sells something and makes someone get stuck with something that doesn't work?
